Sources: Vancouver FC's T.J. Tahid transferred to a club in Albania

Vancouver FC midfielder T.J. Tahid has been transferred to a club in Albania, sources told HFX Football Post on Monday. Details of the transfer have yet to be confirmed; the club is expected to make an announcement at 10 a.m. PDT.
Tahid, 18, joined the Eagles in their inaugural season in 2023, making waves as he became the youngest-ever goal scorer in Canadian Premier League history. The Maple Ridge, B.C.-born midfielder went on to make 20 league appearances in 2023. He leaves Vancouver FC having made 46 league appearances during his time in the Lower Mainland.
Internationally, Tahid represented Canada at the U-17 FIFA World Cup but joined Ghana this year for the 2025 U-20 Africa Cup of Nations Tournament.
Tahid joins James Cameron and Grady McDonnell as Vancouver FC U-21 players who have been moved on to new clubs.
